Members of the Klein community came out to a meeting hosted by the Harris County Flood Control District attended by fifty people to learn more about the improvements planned for the area. This meeting featured a new unique format that incorporated stations and a video presentation for folks to watch prior to asking more in-depth questions at individual information booths.
Project Recovery was stationed at one of these booths allowing us to talk to 30 people who stopped by and hand out flyers with more information about the program. Some of the attendees knew families that were impacted and have shared Project Recovery flyers with their neighbors. Thank you to everyone who has shared information about Project Recovery.
