Harris County Project Recovery was on hand to share program information with attendees at a local housing meeting at the Martin L. Flukinger Community Center in Channelview in eastern Harris County. A presentation on the types of assistance available through the program was given to the 50 people in attendance. In addition, everyone at the meeting received information about the program that they can share with their friends and neighbors. We encouraged everyone who was affected to apply and after the meeting homeowners impacted by the storm stopped by and were able to fill out the easy pre-application in five minutes.
