A full house was in attendance for the monthly Katy AARP meeting at Midway Barbecue and to listen to live music from a local band. We were invited to speak before the meeting began to the 92 people in attendance and give a presentation on Project Recovery Harvey. We were able to share information about the program as well as let everyone know that we’ll be in Katy in the next couple of weeks as well. During the meeting, we helped 3 people fill out their pre-applications and spoke to 25 people individually who wanted more information. After the meeting, we spoke to several individuals who would like to have presentations at future events including the Lions Club and the local VFW. We look forward to working with these organizations to spread the word about the Harvey funding available for homeowners!
