A Precinct 2 community roundtable was held in northeast Harris County at the East Aldine Management District in Aldine. Fifty attendees learned about Project Recovery Harvey and were equipped with information to share about the program with those they serve.
They contributed their ideas and discussed the neighborhoods they know were impacted. Attendees signed on to partner in sharing information about the program.
The Aldine area was heavily impacted by the floods during Harvey. Attendees shared neighborhoods with us that they knew were affected. These include Dyer Forest Heights, Pine Trails, Pine Village, Bender Creek, Castlewood, High Meadows, Sherwood Place, Fairgreen, Northside Terrace, Kinwood, and Greenwood Village.
